I haven't read the comics either, but I did a little web-surfing and GA and GL are supposed to be quite the team in Star City. Anyway, I'm going with it because it helps me with something later in the fic, and I love Hal as I've seen him other fics so I thought it would be fun to include him. When Oliver and Hal realize who each other are, it will definitely be funny.
